RETRO REWIND

Ruleset:

• 2 teams of 2

• Round starts with a challenge to decide who has control of the game

• Team is asked a retro video game related trivia question; if they get it right then they get the points and proceed to the next question

• Answering correctly keeps that team in control of the board

• Answering incorrectly gives control of the board to the other team, giving them a chance to answer it

• If a team does not know the answer or don’t think the other team knows the answer, they can choose to "Rewind"

• Rewind passes the question over to the other team for double points

• The enemy team has the chance to rewind back, or "Retro Rewind" for 4 times the original points

• When on a retro rewind, the team can opt to do a Video Game Challenge instead of answering the question

• For the final challenge, the team with the most points at the end of Round 2 gets the opportunity to do the Super Retro Rewind Challenge, where both players will work together and complete challenges throughout several games in 5 minutes (the amount of time is subject to change)

• The prizes for the winning team will vary depending on the number of challenges that are completed by the end of the time limit

  • Trivia Starting Value: 10

  • Rewind: 20

  • Retro Rewind OR Retro Challenge: 40

• Question point values for Round Two:

  • Trivia Starting Value: 20

  • Rewind: 40

  • Retro Rewind OR Retro Challenge: 80
