Warm up that hot glue gun and get ready to show off your creative work!
Contestants can only enter in one category: single or group. In groups, prizes for each member are not guaranteed.
The costumes must conform to the SCPS county dress code.
No profanity allowed; includes messages on signs or clothes. Anyone who violates this will be disqualified from the contest.
No political or religious statements or costumes. Anyone who violates this will be disqualified from the contest.
No weapons or any sort of projectile at all! Nothing must leave your person. Anyone who violates this rule may be disqualified from the contest.
No flashpots, explosive devices, or similar special effects are to be used. Anyone who violates this rule will be disqualified from the contest and be removed from the entire event.
All applicants must be present at the time of judging.
To be judged for accuracy a visual reference will be appreciated. This is not required. However, you may not be eligible for accuracy points if the judges are not familiar enough with your character. In the registration, you may link a photo for your character if you wish.
Each contestant may only enter one costume into competition.
Large elaborate costumes must be handled by the contestant and/or assistants the contestant brings to help. A CroomsCon staff member will not be available to provide assistance.
The Judges decision is final, no whining!

Accuracy - How well does the Costume match the reference?
Completion - Are all of the parts of the costume completed?
Durability - Has the costume survived (no broken pieces, etc.)
Skill - How well is the costume constructed (Can stray pins, threads, empty holes be seen?)
Construction - Is the artist able to describe how their costume was created?
Presentation - How well does the cosplayer present their costume to the audience?
